honeymoons in cairns and the tropical north queensland region
As soon as you set the date for your wedding it is now when you need to start planning your honeymoon. Your honeymoon will be one of the most important points of the planning process, it is important for you and your new husband to get away together to spend some time relaxing and reflecting on your new life together.
Many good honeymoon venues are booked out well in advance, think about where you want to go and how much time you can take off to be away together. Do you want to visit an island, a party area, a relaxing beach destination, shopping in a city, a secluded rainforest destination.
Whilst you are away on honeymoon, there are a few things that will need doing... If you are leaving the reception to go to a hotel, or if you are off on honeymoon immediately, ask someone to be responsible for your wedding outfits and also to take your presents and store them for you.
If you provided disposable cameras at your wedding, arrange for someone to collect then at the end of the day and have them processed. Ask someone to return any hired or borrowed items.
Arrange for wedding cake to be sent to those who did not attend the wedding. (N.B. Wedding cake should also be sent to all those who did not attend your wedding but who gave you a wedding gift.)
Send details of the wedding to the local newspapers.
